MORE ABOUT THE BAND
The John Hampu Band has been around since 1985! They have played at multiple weddings, community events, fairs, and parties!
The band was invited to perform for the Alliance Carnation City Festival's " Days in the Park" event around 2000. Since then, The John Hampu Band has been a regular entertainment feature at this event, as well as, many other venues around northeastern Ohio.
Classic rock and roll music is the preferred sound for musical performances, but the band is able to transition to other musical genres if requested in advance; wedding music, for instance.
The John Hampu Band provides songs in sets that are in a special sequence that we hope pleases, surprises, and entertains the audiences as we move between different tempos, different genres, and different eras of the classic rock & roll world. Several rock and roll artists and bands are featured during each performance in a unique super tribute fashion to honor the master musicians and stars of the past.
